Police Department to Undergo Police Accreditation
The Mendon Police Department will be hosting an on-site assessment by the Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission, Inc., from April 29, 2024 to May 3, 2024.
The Mendon Police Department provides general fingerprinting services for residents of Mendon only at no cost. Residents must provide positive picture identification along with proof of residency. Acceptable forms of identification include a Massachusetts driver’s license, Massachusetts ID, or Passport, along with acceptable proof of residency. Students and active-duty military need a valid government identification and proof of local residency or enrollment in a local college or university.
Fingerprint cards should be obtained from the requesting agency and filled out prior to arriving at the Police Station and all identifying information on the card must match the ID provided. If you are unable to obtain fingerprint cards from your requesting agency, generic FBI FD-258 or Massachusetts State Police cards may be available. The use of wrong or improperly filled out cards may result in a rejection or delay in obtaining results.
Fingerprinting for Immigration or adoption purposes is not provided by the Mendon Police Department. Please refer to the US Citizenship and Immigration website for more information.
Fingerprinting services are provided on seven days a week. There are no appointments taken and wait times are expected. We ask that you please call ahead to ensure there will be an officer available.
