Chief’s Office

Police Chief

Chief David H. Kurczy

The Mendon Police Department is privileged to serve the Mendon community to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents and businesses. The low crime rate in Mendon is reflective of the partnership that exists between our department and the community we serve. This collaboration has contributed greatly to making Mendon a safe town. We believe that community policing is the best approach to address the problems that give rise to public safety issues. Community policing relies strongly on the creation of community partnerships as a way of identifying and proactively resolving problems in order to prevent criminal activity. I am proud to point out that the Mendon Police Department is committed to its mission of making our town a place where citizens understand they can live safely in a community where the police are here to protect their way of life. Indeed, it is our privilege to protect and serve each and every citizen and visitor in the Town of Mendon. If you would like additional information about community policing or would like to have an officer attend a community event, please contact us at the Mendon Police Department.

Sincerely,

Chief David H. Kurczy
