Re: Updated Traffic Pattern for Providence Street
Date: December 19, 2023
Please be advised that, in my capacity as Director of the Office of Emergency Management and as Chief of Police, I have been closely monitoring the damage caused by yesterday’s storm. Of major concern is the extensive damage of Providence Street and the subsequent need to close the roadway.
Fire Chief William Kessler, Highway Surveyor Jonathan Dudley and I will be meeting with the members of the Select Board at their scheduled meeting tomorrow, December 20, 2023. We will discuss the extent of the damage, a plan to mitigate that damage, and solutions to the temporary closure of the roadway that will help minimize the disruption to traffic.
